Create your Backstage account in minutes and manage your online votes securely and efficiently.
Creating your Backstage account gives you full access to create, manage, and monitor your online votes and elections.
Important note: Voters do not need to create an account to participate in a vote. Only organizers need a Backstage account.
1. Create Your Account
1. Go to https://backstage.voteer.com/signup or click the activation link received by email.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Set a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character)
4. Submit the form — an OTP code will be sent to your email.
5. Enter the OTP code to verify your email address.
Use “Sign up with Microsoft” (SSO) if your organization already uses it. This avoids managing an extra password.
2. Sign In to Backstage
1. Go to https://backstage.voteer.com/signup
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Click Sign in Or click “Sign in with Microsoft” to use SSO.
3. Verify Your Access
1. Check that your Backstage dashboard loads correctly.
2. Confirm that your name and email appear in your profile (top right).
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
If you don’t receive the OTP email or the password reset link, check your Spam / Junk folder first.
- Expired invitation — The invitation link has expired. Ask the organizer to send you a new invitation.
- Microsoft SSO not available — SSO must be enabled by your Backstage administrator.
- Forgot your password? Click “Forgot password” on the login page to securely reset it.
Forgot password ?
Click “Forgot password” on the login page to receive a reset link by email.
Once connected, your name and email should appear at the top right of the screen.
Create or join an organization
You can create or join an existing organization.
Note: To join an existing organization, you must be invited by the organizer.
