Manage multiple organizations from a single Backstage account. Create dedicated workspaces, customize their settings, and switch between organizations instantly without logging out.
Backstage helps organizers centralize the management of multiple entities, departments, subsidiaries, or client organizations from one secure account.
Who Can Create an Organization?
Only users with the Organizer role can create and manage organizations in Backstage.
🔹 Step 1 — Create an Organization
- Sign in to: https://backstage.voteer.com
- Click “Create a New Organization”
- Configure the organization settings:
- Organization name
- Language
- Custom color
- Click “Create” to confirm
✅ Expected result: your organization is created and appears in your organization list.
Choose a color that matches your organization’s branding to personalize the voter experience.
🔹 Step 2 — Switch Between Multiple Organizations
- Click “My Organizations List” in the left-hand menu
- Select the organization you want to access
✅ Expected result: you switch instantly to the selected organization without logging out.
A single account can be linked to multiple organizations. You can switch between them directly from the dashboard without signing out.
This is especially useful for organizations managing:
- Multiple subsidiaries
- Regional entities
- Different departments
- Multiple clients or business units
Join an Existing Organization
You can also join an existing organization created by someone else and become an organizer. This allows you to manage votes within that organization without creating a completely new one.
Note: To join an existing organization, you must be invited by the current organizer.
Special Cases & Common Errors
Deleting an organization is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you no longer need it before deleting it.
- The organization does not appear — Refresh the page or verify that the organization was successfully created.
- Unable to create an organization — Make sure your account has the Organizer role.
Only Organizer users can create organizations in Backstage.
Organizations can be switched directly from the dashboard without logging out.
A single Backstage account can access multiple organizations simultaneously.
